Is anyone else out there going through hockey withdrawals? I'm checking the Vancouver vs. Kelowna score and it made me sad to think that the game would have been played here in Spokane had the Chiefs won game seven against the Giants. Oh, well.
Anyway, I know this happened a few days ago but Trevor Glass was signed by the Hartford Wolf Pack of the AHL to an amateur tryout agreement. He's on the roster as they play Worcester in the AHL playoffs. I'm glad that Glass has a shot. He certainly deserves it. But did he have to go to the AHL affiliate of the New York Rangers? Seriously, anywhere else but Hartford would have been preferred. Even though he's in Hartford, I hope he does well enough to get a contract next year. Go get 'em, Glass!
