There's something definitely in the air. It always comes around this time of year, and I'm not talking about the change in the weather. It's the feeling that makes me turn to channel 31 (Versus network) when I normally don't care what's on that channel. It's the feeling that makes me watch my DVD's of 'Slap Shot' and 'Miracle' back to back, and even 'Mystery, Alaska' on occasion. It's the feeling that makes me want to play the latest NHL video game I own (by the way, it's NHL 2K9 on the Wii - and it is awesome)! The feeling is HOCKEY, and I mean ALL HOCKEY!!! The NHL is back, televised on Versus. Back to back NHL games on TV to start the season makes me happy. Hockey is back in full and I am loving it!
By the way, I saw that Sarah Palin is dropping the puck at the home opener of my beloved Philadelphia Flyers. If they have a bad season I am blaming her!
