Wow!
I believe I said in my last post that tonight's game with Everett would be a good one. I really thought Everett would keep it close. Boy, did I miss that one! The Chiefs smacked the Tips around for 60 minutes, winning by the score of 5-0. Tokarski stopped 30 shots on his way to his third shutout this season (I put the shutout over/under for Toka at 12 for this season). The goals went to Cowen, Johnson, Bowman, Gal, and Mitch Wahl, who worked his way through three Everett defenders and beat the goalie on what could be called an early goal of the year candidate. Two home games, two shutouts. I'm loving this!
Note to anyone who plays the Spokane Chiefs in Spokane this year: You come, you get beat, you go home. End of story.
